Title: Assessment, Evaluation and Reporting:  Documenting Student Learning

 Description: In this session we will focus on the key messages of Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation and Reporting in Ontario Schools (2010) that support assessment for, as, and of learning. In addition, we will discuss the importance of documenting student learning and explore practical methods of documentation such as: checklists, anecdotal records and assessment ‘for’ learning strategies. We will also review the requirements for completing the Provincial Report Card, determining a report card grade and writing report card comments using the Comment Framework.
